This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our Sport department in September 2023.

The successful candidate will be involved in teaching a wide range of sporting activities. Abbot’s Hill offers netball, lacrosse, football, swimming, tag rugby, dance, gymnastics, cricket, tennis, athletics, and cross country with additional sports as part of the co-curricular program.

Applicants should ideally have experience of coaching one or more of these major sports: Netball, Lacrosse, Athletics and Tennis. Experience of teaching Academic PE and working in, or alongside, Athletic Development/Sports Leadership programmes would be an advantage.

We are a Reception-Y11 school with a dedicated Head of Prep PE. From time to time our PE department works across the whole school to support fixtures.

Teachers appointed to Abbot’s Hill School are expected to maintain the highest professional standards and to contribute to the co-curricular life of the community. Those who join the School can expect to become part of a caring, purposeful and committed community.
