We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic, forward-thinking and supportive Physical Education department. We aim to recruit an individual who would enjoy the opportunity to assist with the delivery of all areas of the Physical Education curriculum. We set high standards for teaching and learning and our students have very good levels of attainment and engagement.
Expertise and the ability to coach Lacrosse is essential as you will be involved in supporting our curricular and extra-curricular programme; this includes the school’s schedule of fixtures and activities during the week and at weekends. The individual appointed would be expected to run squad training sessions and they must be prepared to plan, lead and deliver group activities within other training sessions they are assisting. An interest or experience of coaching football and/or netball would also be an advantage.
This role would suit an individual who has a passion for lacrosse and Physical Education or is looking to gain experience ahead of University or undertaking a PGCE.
Holding or working towards a Level 1 award in umpiring and/or coaching lacrosse would be highly advantageous.
The current working hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; 12pm-6pm. Wednesday 10.30am-5.30pm, Friday 1pm-4pm and Saturday 8am-1pm. Adhoc Sunday work may be required and paid at an overtime rate.
