School Nurse

Hours: Full time, 34 weeks per year (term time plus 4 inset days), 36 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a registered nurse (RSCN/RGN) to join the School as soon as possible in a full time capacity, term-time only plus four days.

You will be expected to work in partnership with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies to provide a clinically effective high-quality service of nursing care to our pupils across the age range 3-18 years.

If you are an experienced registered nurse with an interest in working with young people, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Salary is based on NHS Band 5, depending upon experience.

IT Technician

Hours: Full Time

Required: ASAP

Salary: £22,000 – £25,290 pa dependent on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking an IT Technician to work 36 hours per week, all year round.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, well organised, & driven person who has a passion for IT and can deliver exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will ideally have Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Windows Server experience, and will be primarily responsible for the smooth running of computer systems, providing technical support for all hardware, software and associated peripherals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Resolution of IT problems, liaising with relevant third-party providers over issues
• Proactively provide information to users on outstanding issues
• Installing & configuring operating systems & various software packages
• Ensure security of data, network and backup system

Ipswich High School seeks to appoint an outstanding, passionate and dynamic classroom practitioner as Teacher of Mathematics with effect from September 2024. This is a permanent part time 0.5 role.

The successful applicant will join a department which enjoys an outstanding reputation, helping pupils to achieve excellent GCSE and A-level results year-on-year.  Mathematics is also regularly amongst the most popular subject choices at A-Level.  We are seeking to appoint an individual who is excited by the opportunity to join this thriving department.

Due to the considerable experience and expertise within the department, the primary qualities sought are the ability to inspire and support pupils to enjoy and make excellent progress in Mathematics.  Prior experience of successfully teaching Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics at A-Level is desirable but not essential.
