We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible individual to join our team as a Housekeeping and Catering General Assistant.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible individual to join our team as a Housekeeping and Catering General Assistant. This role plays a very important role in the experience that our school children and clients have, whilst at Patterdale Hall.
The successful candidate will be required to work in two main areas of the Hall. They will assist the Housekeeper with the cleanliness of the Hall, and the Cook with kitchen and dining room duties. On occasion, there may be the requirement to help out with general maintenance of the Hall and assist in the provision of evening duty.
A salary of £20,048 per annum and an excellent benefits package are available including a generous pension scheme, free food whilst working, free on-site parking, and 28 days holiday. Our live-in rate is £8.70 per day (rising to £9.10 per day from April 2023), the lowest amount in line with the HMRC regulations; this includes all utilities, rates, use of laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, etc.
Patterdale Hall is a Residential Adventure Learning Centre, based in Glenridding on the shores of Lake Ullswater, which provides a variety of land and water-based activities for school children and commercial clients. The Hall is part of the Bolton School Foundation in Lancashire.
