Thank you for your interest in the position of Headteacher of Moorlands School, Leeds.

Moorlands is a very happy, small school with a great big heart.

 The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, its small class sizes and a broad curriculum that encompasses academics, sports, music and the arts, with an Artsmark Gold award just around the corner.  Pupils make significant progress, and are confident, well-rounded, caring young people who are generally ahead of their peers academically. Our next Headteacher will want to continue to build upon these achievements.

Nonetheless, there are real opportunities for the next Headteacher to make their mark. The curriculum and the way the school operates are due for review; there are site development plans ready for the funding to be secured; there are more pupils to recruit through dynamic marketing and whilst Moorlands School has been called ‘Leeds best-kept secret’ it is time to make sure everyone knows all about it!
