Queen Margaret’s School for Girls is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18. You will find us in glorious parkland about six miles south of York.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self motivated and energetic Graduate Assistants to join our Boarding House team from September 2023.

Our Boarding Houses provide outstanding pastoral care for the girls in the school. Under the leadership of a Housemistress you will help to provide a relaxed, warm and caring environment which the girls are happy to call ‘home’. You will be passionate about working with young people, and creating a supportive environment in which they can thrive. Dependent on your own skills and experience you will be expected to carry out additional responsibilities such as running sports teams and activities or delivering music or other extra curricular activities.
