You will lead the long-term development of commercial lettings and events at the school to ensure the development of a successful commercial entity.

Responsible to: Chief Operating Officer

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Base hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. However, significant working outside these hours (including weekends and evenings) is a requirement of the post, and hours will be managed on a monthly basis

Grade/Salary: Competitive - Dependent on qualifications/experience

St Peter’s School, York, is a dynamic, forward-looking HMC independent school for day and boarding pupils based a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre of York.

You will lead the long-term development of commercial lettings and events at the school to ensure the development of a successful commercial entity.

This will include the development of an annual schedule of commercial activities, to be developed with and agreed by the WSLT, and which support the St Peter’s brand and maximises profitability.

Although this is a new management role, you will be building on a successful lets and holiday activities programme developed by the existing lettings and events team.

Educated to degree level, candidates must have management and budgeting experience in a similar commercial role with a sound understanding of financial management and the development of commercial activities.
