We have a great part-time opportunity for an Accounts Assistant within our Bursary team to play a key part in ensuring our finance processes and administration run smoothly.

Accounts Assistant Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 52 weeks pa

Start date: Ideally mid April 2023

Caldicott is one of the country’s most prestigious Independent Boarding and Day Preparatory Schools for Boys. We are a flourishing school with around 250 boys from 7 to 13 years old, with a five-day week in Year 3 & Year 4, Saturday School from Year 5 and all boys weekly board in Year 7 & Year 8. We have a great part-time opportunity for an Accounts Assistant within our Bursary team to play a key part in ensuring our finance processes and administration run smoothly. The role reports into the Assistant Bursar, and is vital in providing a positive and professional service to 3rd party suppliers, employees and pupils alike.

The successful candidate will:

• be well organised, methodical and analytical;

• be confident with MS Office applications, Outlook, Word and Excel in particular; also in the use of using databases such as iSAMS and Sage accounts for administrative and reporting processes;

• have excellent interpersonal skills, with a cheerful “can do” attitude, and

• be a calm team player who can prioritise effectively and work efficiently.
