The school seeks a dynamic and well-qualified teacher of History and Politics from September 2023 to teach full time.
The Portsmouth Grammar School is a leading co-educational school located in the historic heart of Portsmouth. The school aims to support every pupil in order that they might achieve their potential.
The school seeks a dynamic and well-qualified teacher of History from September 2023 to teach full time. The successful candidate will teach History from Years 7 to 13. In addition, for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate, there will be the opportunity to teach Politics at A Level. The ability to teach the latter would be advantageous but not an absolute requirement for this post.
Candidates should be well qualified subject specialists, able to inspire young people with their enthusiasm for History and for teaching, and ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
Applications are invited from all those who meet the above criteria, whether they are newly qualified, or more experienced teachers. In addition, PGS has a strong track record in supporting unqualified (UQTs) through their teaching qualification. Applications from UQTs are also very welcome.
