This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team of counsellors within Headington School as we seek to build on and expand our counselling service. Headington is proud of its pastoral care provision and our school counsellors work within a dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff who strive to deliver high quality pastoral care for our diverse mix of students.
We are looking for qualified individuals with experience of working therapeutically with children and young people to support their mental health, emotional, social and behavioural needs. This is a non-teaching pupil facing role. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the developmental, emotional, social and educational issues affecting young people from diverse backgrounds, as well as having a passion for student wellbeing, safeguarding and pastoral care.
