MCS is seeking to appoint a skilled and motivated individual from Monday 17th April or 1st September 2023, to support the Head of Hockey in developing the sport further within the school.

Magdalen College School, founded in 1480, is one of the country’s leading independent day schools. The Sports Department is the largest in the School and oversees the provision of all sport across the Junior and Senior School.

The school is seeking to appoint a skilled and motivated individual from Monday 17th April or 1st September 2023, to support the Head of Hockey in developing the sport further within the school. The successful applicant will be expected to coach bright and enthusiastic pupils from U8 – U18 and hold at least an England Hockey level 3 coaching award, or an ability to work towards the equivalent in the coming year. The employment will be a 30 hours per week averaged across the year during term time and will include fixtures as part of the wider school sports programme.
