To be an enthusiastic member of the Nursery team Take a shared responsibility for the welfare, learning and development of a group of children

Take on the role of Key Person after an initial induction period. Be responsible for a small group of children, including writing observations, assessing and planning for the next stages of children’s development

Assist in the planning and implementation of appropriate experiences for the children, both indoors and outdoors, to meet the learning and development requirements of the EYFS Statutory Framework

Take shared responsibility for standards of safety, security, hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness throughout Nursery

Implement policies and procedures to ensure the welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework are met, especially having a good understanding of the correct procedures to follow in the case of any child protection concerns

Treat all staff, children and parents with courtesy and respect at all times

Take an active role in the pastoral care of the children, reporting any concerns to the Nursery Manager.
