We are looking for a part time Teacher of Theology, Philosophy and Religion (TPR) for a one year fixed term contract. The position demands an excellent subject knowledge in order to teach TPR up to and including A level.

We are looking for either a graduate or an experienced teacher to join our flourishing Theology, Philosophy and Religion (TPR) department on a one year fixed term contract. The position demands high professional standards and excellent subject knowledge in order to teach TPR up to and including A level. The successful candidate will teach a minimum of a 0.5 timetable working with pupils aged 11 to 18 and will enable progress of all pupils, including the most able with ambitious future plans and SEND pupils who may need greater support in accessing the curriculum.

As this is a part-time appointment, the post is flexible in nature and therefore it can be a part-time teaching appointment with no co-curricular or pastoral duties. Should a more comprehensive role be sought then there is the possibility for the successful candidate to play a more active role in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the School. There is also the opportunity for the Head of Department job share which can be discussed at interview.
