The post holder will work closely with the Director of Sport and Sports Department.
Hours – This role is full time, term time only. Hours will be split over the week to support the needs of the school.

To support the sports department in the delivery of an outstanding sporting programme. The successful candidate should be able to
Coaching one or more of the schools focus sports
To assist with the teaching and administrative tasks of the Sports Department
To support academic staff as required
Responsibilities & Duties
The duties outlined in this job description may be modified by the Headmaster, with your agreement, to reflect or anticipate changes in the job.
Assist in the delivery of coaching of games lessons and the sporting co-curricular programme.
Assist in the delivery of core PE, games, and swimming lessons.
Assist in department administration as directed by the Director of Sport.
Coaching, scoring, refereeing or umpiring fixtures.
Supporting other areas of the school, as required.
In conjunction with qualified staff, assist and lead small groups with the teaching of Sport by delivering high quality, up-to-date and challenging sessions across all age groups under the supervision of the class teacher
To help with home or away team fixtures by coaching and managing teams. Occasional weekend commitments may be required. You will be given good notice of dates
To be responsible for team sheets, match reports and other team-based administration if necessary
Fully support the Clubs and Activities programme
Support the Director of Sport in the reporting process
Support academic staff as required
Helping in classrooms as required
Preparation of resources for class teachers
Working with individual children, or small groups, as appropriate
Carrying out duties as required
Accompanying staff and pupils on school visits and trips, as required
To keep written records of children's social and emotional development in line with our Safeguarding and Behaviour for Learning policies
