The role:
The Head of Admissions will lead on the recruitment of day and boarding students, and ensure every stage of the recruitment process/customer journey is appropriately serviced by the Admissions team. This role requires a highly efficient individual skilled in business administration and interrogation of data to ensures appropriate service delivery at each stage of customer journey. Management of accurate data to inform financial forecasting and budget. As the Authorising Officer, the postholder will be responsible for ensuring UK VI licence requirements are adhered to and delivered.
The purpose of this role is: to assist in the implementation of a cohesive, proactive and imaginative recruitment strategy, reflecting the Royal High School Bath values and ethos with the aim of achieving a full class entry of high-quality pupils for all year groups. You will deliver a highly proactive, fair and efficient admissions process to bring local and international girls into the School. Your team will develop strong relationships with prospective parents and pupils through all aspects of the recruitment and admissions process as well as with Prep Schools, educational agents and other key stakeholders. There will be a need for some national and international travel and attendance at conferences and recruitment fairs as well as some evening and weekend working.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional with exceptional business administration skills. This individual will have an innate understanding of lead generation and the nurture of students and parents through the process of admissions. You will join a friendly and hard-working Marketing and Admissions team in a sustained programme of student recruitment.
This important role presents an exciting opportunity for an admissions professional to drive the success of Royal High School Bath, and GDST boarding. The post holder will work closely with the Director of External Relations to define and drive the pupil recruitment strategy and leading the Admissions process across the whole school. The Head of Admissions will work closely with the Head, the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) and Director of External Relations to support parent interviews, and provide regular numbers to enable forecasting and growth. They will regularly attend events with parents and feeder schools and work with all colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer journey for every prospective family.
The Head of Admissions will be a strong communicator, and understand sales principals, customer service and the importance of accurate data. Agent Management will form a crucial part of this role and require the skills of a Key Account Manager. Driving recruitment activity, the Head of Admissions will manage a strong and robust admissions process; setting targets and monitoring activity, with the ability to adapt when necessary. They will contribute to the development and implementation of an admissions strategy that reflects the unique nature of Royal High and ensure the best possible experience for prospective families.
