Teacher of Drama (with English)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and skilled Drama teacher to join our vibrant and successful English and Drama department on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist who is passionate about both the practical and academic aspects of drama and theatre to make a significant impact within a thriving school community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality drama lessons across all key stages, including GCSE and A-Level Theatre Studies/Drama. A strong subject knowledge of both practical and theoretical approaches to drama and performance is essential, and familiarity with the AQA GCSE and OCR A-Level specifications is desirable. You will be expected to lead at least one production each year and assist with all departmental productions, working closely with students to foster creativity and stagecraft. You will also be encouraged to make lessons fun, engaging, and accessible to all students, while inspiring them to develop both their practical and academic understanding of drama.
