We are seeking a dynamic, inspiring, and experienced Head of Music to lead our music provision for pupils aged 3 to 11 at Avon House Preparatory School.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented music educator to shape and develop a vibrant music programme within our school. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality music lessons, managing and leading choirs and ensembles, and organising musical events that enrich school life.

About you

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual with:

· A proven track record of teaching music across the Primary age range (Nursery to Year 6)

· Experience in leading choirs, ensembles, and music groups

· The ability to accompany soloists in concerts

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· A passion for fostering a love of music in young learners

· The ability to coordinate music for whole-school events, including prize-giving, carol concerts, productions, and nativities
