Thames is a thriving mainstream and diverse independent secondary school rated Excellent by ISI. The school is located next to Clapham Junction station, in a brand new, purpose built premises.

The role:

  • Teaching Psychology A level
  • Oversight of the Psychology curriculum and preparation of long, medium and short term planning
  • Planning and delivering well structured lessons and ensuring that high standards of engagement are maintained in the classroom
  • Implementing strategies to improve engagement and monitoring progress

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a graduate with a relevant good honours degree
  • Be a creative, innovative and dedicated teacher with a real passion for the subject
  • Have a commitment to embracing challenges and raising pupil attainment
  • Have an exceptional eye for detail
  • Have experience in either the private or maintained sector
