We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced part-time teacher of Preparatory Music at The Kingsley School.
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced part-time teacher of Preparatory Music at The Kingsley School.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated musician and have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to teaching.
They will have:
Experience of teaching music at primary level, including EYFS
A good level of piano and vocal skills
Able to lead singing rehearsals and play for school productions
Excellent classroom management and subject knowledge
Additional hours may be available for a candidate with the ability to teach dance. In addition, the ability to teach an upper-stringed instrument as part of the Year 3 string scheme would be preferred but is not essential.
As a teacher, they will be committed to inspiring a genuine interest in their subject and contributing with enthusiasm to the busy co-curricular life of the department and school.
This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative practitioner to develop their skills and experience in a highly successful department.
Hours of Work: Part-time (0.24) teaching from EYFS to Year 6
