Bronte House

Brontë House School is a co-educational school for children aged 3-11 years. Set in its own grounds near to our Senior School, Woodhouse Grove, we have an outstanding reputation for first class care and education. We provide a challenging and safe environment, which encourages creativity and stimulates curiosity and learning.

At Brontë House, we have been educating and enriching the lives of young people for over 80 years and are proud of our long history of academic excellence. We are highly successful in developing well-rounded individuals who have confidence, respect for others, sound judgement and integrity.

We are a busy and friendly school – large enough to offer an exceptional range of opportunities but small enough for every child to be known and valued. Our combination of small class sizes, a supportive family atmosphere and exceptional teaching ensures that your child will feel happy, challenged and make good progress in all aspects of school life.

Brontë House enjoys its own dedicated facilities and there is a continuing programme of enhancement and investment. Our classrooms are complemented by specialist teaching rooms for ICT, Art and Science. Our Sports Hall provides facilities for a range of sports, as well as providing the venue for assemblies and school performances. We now also offer bushcraft lessons across all year groups.

Our youngest children, joining at three years of age, have the opportunity to stay in the Woodhouse Grove family and enjoy a seamless education through to the age of 18 until they are ready for the challenges of university and beyond.
