We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring vocal tutor to contribute to the work of our popular and well-resourced music department. The number of hours will depend on demand for lessons, initially requiring commitment for in the region of 2-3 hours per week.

The School is set in 50 acres of grounds in Wrenthorpe, near Wakefield, within easy reach of the M1 and M62, offering an all-through, fully co-educational day school experience for children from 3 to 18.

The successful applicant will be a qualified singing teacher/ vocal tutor with experience teaching children from beginner through to Grade 8. You should be familiar with the requirements of the relevant external exam boards and be able to tailor teaching and examination entries to suit the individual. You should be willing to contribute to extra-curricular music activities, including school concerts and the possibility of directing an ensemble. You should be able to enthuse young vocalists to take up and continue singing.
