Heathfield School seeks to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Computing to join the School in early 2025. Any candidate, with the necessary experience and qualities, will be considered for the role of Head of Department. Heathfield prides itself on the value added in all aspects of school life, ensuring this is possible through smaller class sizes and structures enabling maximal individual attention. In 2024 the results in GCSE Computing averaged almost two full grades above each pupil’s target grade, slightly above the School average for value added.
Computing is taken by all pupils in Forms 1, 2 and 3, and is an option at GCSE currently with one class in Form 4 and one in Form 5 both following the OCR syllabus. All lessons take place in the newly refurbished Innovation Hub which is extremely well equipped; candidates are warmly invited to visit the School to see the facilities and pupils in action for themselves.
To make an application send your Letter of Application and completed Application Form, for the attention of Sarah Rollings, Headmistress to recruitment@heathfieldschool.net
