Holme Grange has seen considerable investment in Information Technology in recent years. We are seeking an excellent Teacher of Computer Science and iMedia to deliver outstanding lessons across the school and support colleagues who also teach ICT to their forms.

We are a well-resourced school. Pupils have access to a 40 workstation ICT Suite, multiple trolleys of iPads and over 300 Chromebooks. All classrooms are equipped with an Interactive Whiteboard plus projector connected to a laptop or a Desktop PC.

The school uses SharePoint and Google Docs plus a range of media to communicate & market the school as well as to teach pupils. Pupil in the senior school work with 1:1 devices and we use Microsoft as the vehicle for doing so.

We are lucky to have some 3D printers used for the pupils to design 3D models. The school’s MIS is Engage alongside other staff systems. ICT is taught as a discrete subject throughout the school from the age of 3 with further use made of ICT resources by teachers in other subject lessons.
