We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, friendly and hard-working exam invigilator to join our busy Exams Team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and readily available during main exam periods, have good communication and interpersonal skills, work well as part of a team and be confident and a reassuring presence to candidates in exam room
Main duties and responsibilities of the invigilator include -the setting up of exam rooms in accordance with the Exam Board regulations and guidelines; starting and finishing each allocated examination in accordance with Exam Board regulations and guidelines; Invigilating during examinations; dealing with queries raised by candidates; dealing with examination irregularities in accordance with procedures; ensuring that the examination room is clear and tidied for the next session and that equipment is returned; collection and collation of all scripts.
Invigilation work is available in half-day sessions both mornings and afternoons. You must be available during May and June as a minimum though we run exams in other terms too. We prefer applicants to be available several days a week during exams periods.
