· Part time up to 24 hours per week, shifts by negotiation

term time only including Saturday rota (8 hrs, 1 weekend in 4 with a colleague for fixtures)

Caldicott is one of the country’s most prestigious Independent Boarding and Day Preparatory Schools for Boys. We are a flourishing school with around 250 boys from 7 to 13 years old. The School is only twenty miles from central London in a beautiful location.

We are looking to appoint an experienced School Nurse to join our medical team, for an average of up to 24 hours per week. The Health Centre is open 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and we are open to discussion on how hours and rotas may work. There may also be a requirement to provide cover for other staff from time to time so some flexibility will be needed.

Experience of dealing with young children and with a keen interest in health care promotion are essential to this role. Previous experience of working in A&E, with minor injuries or in a school environment would be an advantage and candidates should be confident working independently and as part of a team, as our Health Centre team play a vital role in the healthcare of all members of the school community. The post holders will be required to be in attendance pitch side, outdoors, during sports matches as required.
