Stowe seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)

for September 2025.

We are looking for a well-qualified graduate with leadership qualities to lead the Academic Support Department at Stowe, supporting both those pupils with SEN and also those for whom English is an Additional Language.

The Academic Support Department at Stowe is an important and integral part of the School and the post requires high levels of organisation and empathy. The successful candidate will be an experienced and organised practitioner, who connects well with pupils and colleagues and has a strong knowledge of the relevant legislation.

A willingness to contribute fully to the Department while also adding to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of a busy boarding school is essential.

Closing date: Midnight on Sunday 23rd March

Interview date: Week commencing 24th March 2025

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. In January 2021, Winchester House and Swanbourne House Schools became part of The Stowe Group.
