Chemistry Teacher
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher of Chemistry with a passion for their subject and a commitment to ensure that every pupil flourishes in the successful department. The post holder will teach Chemistry to all Key Stages including A Level.
Beach Lifeguard
The Beach Lifeguard will provide a lifeguard presence during sea swimming activities. Hours: 6am – 7am Tuesday and Thursday mornings and 8am – 12 noon, Saturdays. The ability to be flexible with timings is essential. Salary: £20 per hour
Chef (term time only)
Reporting to the Chef Manager, the Chef will prepare all food for the catering service whilst complying with legislation and maintaining Roedean’s standards of hygiene, quality and presentation.
Compliance Operative (37 hours per week, full year)
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a compliance or safety-related role and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including Legionella control and fire safety. Salary - £23,761 - £26,647 per annum.
Kitchen Porter (37½ hours per week, 40 weeks per year)
Hours: 11.15am – 7.15pm, Monday – Friday, term time plus six weeks of holiday time (40 weeks). Salary based on Roedean NTS Point 10 - £11.60 per hour.
Lead Nurse
The successful candidate will have a professional nursing qualification and NMC registration. Previous experience as a School Nurse. Practice Nurse, Children’s Nurse or as an A&E Nurse would be desirable.
Domestic Cleaner (9.30am – 1.30pm, Monday – Friday, 41 weeks)
The Domestic Cleaner will clean areas of the school as designated by the Housekeeper. Due to the nature of the work it is a genuine occupational requirement for the position to be filled by a female.
Lead School Counsellor (24 hours per week, term time)

Chef (term time plus 6 weeks of holiday time)
NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in professional cookery (or equivalent). City & Guilds 706-3 and/or NVQ Level 3 in professional cookery would be an advantage. Hours: 12 – 6.30pm, Monday – Friday, 40 weeks per year (term time plus 6 weeks)
Part-Time Teacher of Art & Design (1 – 2 days per week)
