The International College is seeking an Administration Assistant to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while providing vital administrative support to our team.
About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position working 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year:
Thursday and Friday: 09:30 – 17:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch break) plus:
Every second Saturday: 09:00 – 12:00 (33 weeks annually)
As a key member of our team, you’ll create a positive first impression, manage daily reception duties, and assist with administrative tasks that support the smooth running of our International College.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties:
Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring they sign in and receive necessary information.
Answer calls professionally, providing information and directing queries as needed.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and maintain an organised, presentable reception area.
Update noticeboards and coordinate visitor parking and security access.
Administrative Support:
Provide essential support to the Admissions and Administration Manager and College Principals.
Maintain accurate records, including student attendance and travel arrangements.
Liaise with parents, staff, and external agents to ensure smooth travel and homestay processes for students.
Prepare correspondence and assist with College events, meetings, and functions.
Manage stationery supplies, complete photocopying tasks, and maintain filing systems.
Admissions Assistance:
Confidently handle queries from prospective parents and agents.
Arrange and host tours for prospective students and their families.
Maintain confidential student records and assist with new starter interviews.

The ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in administrative tasks, including record-keeping and correspondence.
