We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to join our energetic and collaborative Early Years and Pre-Prep department at St Hugh’s School. The successful candidate will be hard working and committed to teaching an EYFS/KS1 class.
Your role will be to develop and nurture the children to ensure that they progress to their maximum potential. You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of stimulating lessons in line with the agreed syllabus and schemes of work across all subjects of the curriculum, with the exception of PE, French, Forest School, Music & ICT.
St Hugh's is a highly regarded coeducational day and boarding school. We are situated on a beautiful green campus of 65 acres in the South Oxfordshire countryside, only 25 minutes from Central Oxford. In June 2025, the Headmaster and Governors announced that St Hugh’s would be opening a Senior School in September 2026. It is a very exciting time to be joining St Hugh’s.

The post holder will report directly to the Assistant Head (Lower School). This is a full-time position, initially for a fixed term contract of twelve months.
