Christ’s Hospital is seeking an outstanding educationalist to take on this exciting role as joint Deputy Head at this major co-ed boarding school, recently awarded Independent School of the Year 2024/25, starting in September 2025.

Christ’s Hospital has pioneered social mobility and challenged social inequality to provide an unrivalled start in life for disadvantaged children for nearly five centuries. As economic and social inequality continue to grow in the UK, Christ’s Hospital’s mission is ever more relevant.

The successful applicant will have strong academic and intellectual credentials and be able to work well within a team. An understanding of the academic picture in independent schools is a key requirement. They will be able to teach at least one curriculum subject from any discipline taught at the school.

They will have a broad educational experience as a leader at middle or senior management level. They will also be a strategic thinker, a confident communicator with excellent people skills with the drive and vision needed to complement the Senior Leadership Team.
