Windlesham House School is seeking to appoint a talented, highly organised and passionate Head of Drama for September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational educator with experience of delivering outstanding lessons and high-quality drama productions.

The Head of Drama will be responsible for all drama teaching throughout the school (Reception – Year 8) and for leading annual school productions. You will promote the vision, ethos and policies of the drama department in order to maintain and secure high standards of creativity, achievement and enjoyment.

Key responsibilities in this role will include

• Delivering an inspiring and creative drama curriculum

• Teaching from Reception to Year 8 including preparing pupils for scholarships to senior schools

• Overseeing all school drama productions, fostering a love of performance and creativity among pupils

• Working collaboratively with creative heads of department such as music and art

• As a form teacher, contributing to the pastoral care and personal development of pupils

• Contributing to the co-curricular life of the School.

• Actively participating in the wider school community, including clubs, trips, events, and initiatives
