Bancroft’s School is developing a new role of Head of Pupil Potential to nurture the potential of current students and recent leavers in relation to their in-school options, immediate post-school options and subsequent careers.

Required from September 2025.

Working closely with the Foundation Office, the Sixth Form team and Heads of Years throughout the school to build connections with alumni and institutional partnerships, the school aims to support each of its pupils and recent alumni and match them to post-school destinations which are a genuine fit in terms of their strengths and motivations.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping pupils and the confidence and ability to work effectively with staff and external stakeholders.

The successful applicant will report to the Senior Deputy Head and work closely with the Deputy Head (Academic), Head of Sixth Form, Foundation Office, with engagement and support also from the Head. This post is full time hours, working Term Time only (34 weeks including Inset days).
