The Deputy Estate Manager is responsible for the 70-acre heritage estate at New Hall, which includes a Grade I listed building and a Grade II registered park and garden, as well as New Hall Park Farm, Boreham House, and other school properties.

Salary: £39,585pa-£46,690pa

35 days’ holiday (including bank holidays)

Generous School fee remission; lunch without charge in term time

Working closely with the Estate Manager, the Deputy Estate Manager is responsible for the 70-acre heritage estate at New Hall, which includes a Grade I listed building and a Grade II registered park and garden, as well as New Hall Park Farm, Boreham House, the off-site School properties and the sponsored primary academy in Messing. There is an exciting School Development Plan, which includes significant investment in heritage restoration, new facilities and community outreach projects.

The successful candidate is required to have experience of soft and hard services, working in a similar role; educated to degree level is desirable. They will have excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data.

New Hall School offers an exceptional working environment, set in a stunning Grade I listed building that is the former Tudor palace of Beaulieu. With a staff of around 300, New Hall is a warm, welcoming and supportive community. A new London rail station will open in 2025, at New Hall’s front gate: Stratford, 26 minutes; London Liverpool Street, 34 minutes.
