Aldwickbury School is looking for an After School Club Assistant who can prepare and provide imaginative and creative activities, suitable for boys aged 4-11 years old.

What will you be doing?

Aldwickbury After School Club enables boys in Reception to Year 6 to stay after school dependent on the time their school day finishes. It is a time when they can relax and enjoy themselves at the end of the day. A wide range of activities is offered to the boys from being creative with craft to playing board games. The boys are often keen to go outside to play football, table tennis or explore the climbing frames.

Who are we looking for?

You will need to have experience of supervising and providing activities for children, with a strong focus and knowledge of safeguarding.

It is important that you understand that all children are different and respond differently to varying situations. You must be able to lead a wide range of activities confidently and a willingness to interact with children in cooperative play.

Aldwickbury is an independent day and flexi-boarding school for boys located in 20 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Harpenden in Hertfordshire

As a Pre-Prep and Prep School Aldwickbury currently has a pupil roll of 388 boys aged 4-13 years. Operated as an Educational Trust the School is administered by a Board of Governors and is a member of the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPs), the Boarding School Association (BSA) and The Independent School Christian Alliance (TISCA).
