Actual Salary £21,101 per annum (£31,230 FTE)

We are seeking a hardworking, flexible Caretaker preferably with experience of working in a school. You will possess excellent DIY skills with the ability to carry out a wide range of minor repairs independently. If you have a plumbing or electrical qualification this would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task, a positive attitude and commitment to achieve the best results for the maintenance of our school.

This is a permanent position offered on a part-time basis, the working hours will be 1.30pm – 6.30pm Monday – Friday. Occasional weekend working will be required for which overtime will be paid.

The Caretaking team at Stormont is part of the larger group of Caretakers who work at the Senior School and our other Prep School in Wheathampstead. This is an effective and mutually supportive team who work very effectively as a unit and represent the School well.
