Blackheath Prep

Blackheath Prep is an outstanding co-educational day school for pupils aged 3 to 11 years. We are located on a five-acre site close to Blackheath Village. We're a school where curiosity and a joyful love of learning is encouraged and where kindness, courage and ambition is at the heart of everything we do.

The rich and varied curriculum, exciting co-curricular activities and superb facilities enables our pupils to find their passions and truly shine. As well as a broad range of academic subjects, we excel in music, the performing arts and sport. From Nursery upwards, all pupils are taught PE, French, Music, Dance, Drama and Forest School. ICT, German, Spanish, Art, DT and Science are introduced in later years.  

The wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of all that we do as a school. Each and every child is nurtured and supported throughout their time with us. We work hard to ensure our school has happy, confident, resilient and inquisitive children. We support our pupils through weekly assemblies, Smart School Council meetings, circle time activities and pastoral mentoring sessions. By the time they leave us in Year 6, our pupils achieve outstanding results in their senior school transfers.
