We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Assistant for Adventurous Activities and Co-Curricular to support the delivery of a busy and varied outdoor education and co-curricular programme. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with young people and contributing to the wider life of a school.

The successful candidate will assist with Adventurous Activities across the College and contribute to an additional area of the co-curricular programme (for example sport, the arts, or another agreed activity).

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany pupils on trips and expeditions, including a minimum of three weeks per term at the Outdoor Centre in Wales, and during the Michaelmas first half-term break
  • Support Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), including expeditions, weekly training sessions, and administrative tasks (including eDofE)
  • Support and attend Combined Cadet Force (CCF) weekly sessions (Tuesdays 4–6pm) and associated camps and trips
  • Support and attend Scouts weekly sessions (Fridays 5–7pm)
  • Assist with the planning, preparation, administration, and delivery of trips, camps, and activities
