Kew College Prep is a thriving and forward-thinking UK Independent Prep and Pre-Prep school. We are seeking a welcoming, highly organised and professional School Receptionist to become the friendly face and a calm presence at the heart of our school community.
As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, the School Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

The Role
Reporting to the Bursar, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a warm, professional and efficient reception service to all visitors and callers
- Managing incoming calls, emails and enquiries with discretion and confidence
- Supporting daily administrative operations, including pupil registers, appointments and communications
- Maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information in line with GDPR requirements
- Assisting with first aid and safeguarding procedures (training will be provided)
- Supporting staff, pupils and parents with professionalism and empathy
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Is highly organised, calm under pressure and able to multitask effectively
- Demonstrates discretion and professionalism at all times
- Is confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and school management systems
- Has previous reception or administrative experience (experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential)
- Enjoys working with children and being part of a close-knit school community
