Newland House School

Newland House School is an IAPS for boys and girls aged 4 to 13 in Twickenham, Middlesex and a founding member of the Hampton Schools Trust. Established in 1897 we celebrate our strong sense of tradition yet continue to stand at the forefront of education. With a balanced curriculum that is innovative, broad and ambitious - and the facilities to match - we continuously seek fresh ideas to enhance our pupils' learning experiences, in the classroom and beyond. We nurture our pupils to become confident, capable and compassionate young people, equipped with the knowledge, skills and character to succeed at their next school and make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Each Newland House child is valued as an individual. They are encouraged to discover their own unique passions and interests and nurtured to achieve their full academic, sporting and creative potential. We want them to discover their own brilliant, be fully involved in school life; enjoy learning, cherish friendships and feel happy, supported and confident in who they are.

We are committed to supporting every pupil's learning journey. Our teachers continually assess progress and adapt their teaching to ensure each child is challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. With specialist teachers who bring a wealth of expertise to support all learners and a wide-ranging enrichment programme.

We recognise that every child is different and that finding the right senior school is an important decision. Through our strong relationships with a wide range of leading senior schools, we support and guide families in identifying the best fit for their child, ensuring every pupil is well prepared and confident in taking their next steps at 11+ or 13+.

As a member of the Hampton Schools' Trust, we benefit from Hampton's formal partnership with neighbouring Lady Eleanor Holles (LEH), giving boys and girls at Newland House the opportunity to gain Assured Places at two of the country's leading single-sex senior schools. Find more information about the Trust and Assured Places here.
