We seek to appoint a highly personable and well-organised individual, with strong administrative skills, to join the Bursary in the role of full time HR Assistant, joining a team of four colleagues in the HR Office. The role entails providing support to the Head of HR, primarily carrying out checks such as reference requests and DBS applications, as well as general office HR assistance. The role has a primary focus on staff recruitment and statutory employment checks.

The post-holder will need to be exceptionally professional and must be able to work with a high level of accuracy. Although specific qualifications are not required, the ability to follow strict procedures, pay attention to detail and appreciate the need for confidentiality at all times will be essential attributes of applicants. Experience of HR would be desirable. Previous experience in the educational or public sector setting would be advantageous. Please refer to the recruitment information booklet for full details.

This is an office-based role. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm during term time and 8.00am – 4.30pm during school holidays.

The full time post offers 28 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and two weeks at Christmas when the School is closed. All annual leave must be taken during the school holidays.

The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.

The start date will be as soon as possible on the completion of all required pre-appointment checks.
