The role will involve the teaching of French up to 13+ Common Entrance and Scholarship levels, thereby preparing children for a variety of leading Independent Schools nationally, along with the development and delivery of departmental policies.
Witham Hall is a happy and dynamic co-educational boarding and day Prep school, set within superb grounds on the Lincolnshire/Rutland border. The pupils in the School are aged from 4 to 13. The School is seeking an energetic and passionate Head of French to take the lead in setting the standards within the French department. The role will involve the teaching of French up to 13+ Common Entrance and Scholarship levels, thereby preparing children for a variety of leading Independent Schools nationally, along with the development and delivery of departmental policies. The enthusiasm and capability to contribute more widely to the day-to-day life of a busy Prep School is also important.
With strong academic qualifications in French, and experience of teaching Modern Languages to a high standard, the successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to really inspire pupils.
