To work closely with the Head Matron and Houseparents to ensure the smooth running of the School with regards to medical and pastoral care of the pupils.
Witham Hall is a happy and dynamic co-educational boarding and day Prep school, set within superb grounds on the Lincolnshire/Rutland border. The pupils in the School are aged from 4 to 13. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school committed to the total curriculum and the highest standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care.
The School is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Matron to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the School with regards to medical and pastoral care of the pupils. With experience of providing outstanding pastoral care, the successful candidate will have a friendly, caring, approachable manner, with excellent communication skills. Working within a small team, flexibility with working hours is essential to ensure Matron cover across the week. The position is initially for a 1yr fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, with the possibility of a longer-term role being available.
Hours of work: Approximately 32hrs per week worked during term-time, as per the Matron rota (currently worked Tuesday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 9pm).
