Laxton Junior School has a new opportunity for a Librarian to help promote the high standards literacy and the love of reading to all in the school community.
The Role
The role of a librarian is to ensure a smooth running of the library to pupils, and to promote literacy and a love of reading to all in the School community by being enthusiastic about children’s books and organizing and maintaining the library as a fundamental element in the school’s strategic development.
The post holder will interact on a professional level with colleagues and seek to establish and maintain productive relationships in order to promote the School.
Salary & Working Hours
The successful candidate will work 31 hours per week (some flexibility is required to work these hours), during term time only (33 weeks and paid for 37.47).
Salary: £14,763 per annum (£26,438 FTE).
