We are currently seeking to fill the position of Electrician.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified Electrician to join our Estates Department on a full‑time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a professional, reliable and safety‑conscious approach to all duties. This role requires someone who is adaptable and flexible, with meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to Health and Safety standards.

It would be advantageous for applicants to hold a PAT Testing qualification.


Working Hours

This is a 40‑hour‑per‑week position, working Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00, with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day. 

The role also includes mandatory attendance at the School’s Speech Day and a requirement to participate in occasional on‑call duties.


Remuneration 

£34,778 per annum


The Estates Department

Our Estates department is managed and lead by the Estates Manager with support from the Assistant Estates Manager. The team, comprising of a specialist joiner, electrician and plumber work across all areas of the School as well as collaborating with the Grounds team over certain tasks. For larger or more complex projects, the Estates team will work with external contractors to complete projects on-time and within budget.
