We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified classroom practitioner to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Science departments from January 2027.
12 miles to the East of York, we offer a unique working environment based within a friendly market town, but close to major cities and heritage coastlines. Our successful co-educational day and boarding school is thriving and we wish to appoint a full time Teacher of Science who can motivate and stretch all pupils, whilst allowing every child to achieve to the best of their ability.
You will be required to teach Key Stage 3 Science predominantly, as well as some Year Nine Physics and Year Ten Chemistry, both covering GCSE content.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a busy school community and is keen to get involved beyond the classroom. Whether through sport, extra-curricular clubs or trips there are plenty of opportunities to share your interests and make a real contribution to school life.
