We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join the coaching team to work with children of all ages and abilities.

About the Role

Salary: £22,364 p.a.

Please note, the salary is the Coaching rate prorated to a full timetable, which is estimated to average out as 25 hours per week. This role is term time only plus one week and is prorated as this.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join the coaching team to work with children of all ages and abilities. The individual should have expertise in one of our core sports which takes place in one of the terms and ideally experience in a sport which takes place in a different term. Please see further information below on terms and sports.

Christmas Term – Hockey or Rugby
Easter Term – Hockey or Netball
Summer Term – Cricket or Tennis

The successful candidate should hold a minimum of a Level 2 Coaching qualification or equivalent in their sport and experience/knowledge of another sport as well as having had previous coaching experience.

General

  1. To help prepare training plans and to coordinate and run small group training sessions, adapting to the needs of groups or individual pupils as required.
  1. To ensure that individual progress is monitored and recorded in the pupil’s individual Academy booklet, including identifying areas for further development.
  1. To keep up to date with developments within your specific sport, produce innovative ideas and ensure that best practice is adopted.
  1. To ensure the Health and Safety policy is implemented and that all equipment is checked and pupils are taught how to use it safely.
  1. To be a positive role model, by creating a fun and safe environment within which pupils are motivated and encouraged to fully participate

General
