St Gabriel's is a forward thinking independent day school with traditional values and excellent pastoral care as well as strong academic results.  Our year-round Sandleford Nursery  offers full day care from 07.30 - 18.30 for babies and children aged 6 months and upwards. Children move seamlessly into our Reception class. In Years 1 to 6, boys and girls are taught in our Junior School with girls progressing to the Senior School for Year 7, thus offering a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form.

The school enjoys enviable grounds and facilities, specialist teaching staff delivering a rich and challenging curriculum, outstanding pastoral care and a broad range of extra-curricular activities. We work closely with parents to ensure that all individual needs are being met or exceeded through each stage of their child's education which helps to foster a love of learning. iPads are provided to pupils whilst in our Junior School as an important learning tool to help prepare them for life in the 21st century.

Teacher-pupil ratios are small and academic results are excellent. The range of courses available at both GCSE and A Level provides both breadth and depth of choice.

Before and after school care is available along with an extensive range of extra-curricular activities which cater for every interest from Climbing to Chess to Cookery to Mandarin Chinese.
A fleet of 9 modern minibuses provide transport for our pupils from across West Berkshire as well as from Overton, Andover and Basingstoke in Hampshire; this service also helps reduce our carbon footprint.
