SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS WANTED

We are launching a recruitment drive for reliable, professional and safety-focused School Bus Drivers to support a new transport operation serving students travelling to and from Stowe School.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team operating high-quality employer-branded vehicles while playing an important role in the daily lives of young people.


Routes Available


Route 1 – Aylesbury to Stowe School. Morning Service (6 days per week). Evening Service (5 days per week)


Route 2 – Thame / Bicester to Stowe School. Morning Service (6 days per week). Evening Service (5 days per week)


Route 3 – Chipping Norton to Stowe School. Morning Service (6 days per week). Evening Service (5 days per week)


Driver Shifts

Morning Drivers

  • Start: 05:30
  • Finish: 09:30

Duties include:

  • Vehicle safety and pre-use checks
  • Route operation
  • Refuelling
  • Vehicle cleaning and presentation
  • Driver debriefing

Evening Drivers

  • Start: 18:30
  • Finish: 21:00

Duties include:

  • Vehicle safety checks
  • Student transportation
  • Returning vehicles to base following route completion

Positions Available

Drivers

  • Split-shift positions available
  • AM and PM driver positions available

Please note: Pick-up and drop-off times have been tested and may be subject to minor operational adjustments.

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. The Stowe Group of schools (Stowe, Ashfold, Swanbourne House and Winchester House) are situated on four separate sites in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire and educate children from 3-18 years.
