We are currently seeking to fill the position of Deputy Estates Manager.

Deputy Estates Manager

Wycombe Abbey is a world class school and is a place of educational excellence. With its distinctive heritage, magnificent 170-acre campus and impressive resources, the School provides an outstanding education for over 650 girls aged 11-18. 

Wycombe Abbey seeks to appoint a Deputy Estates Manager to support and deputise for the Estates Manager in the day-to-day running of the Estates Department and to lead and manage the Facilities team to provide a safe and secure environment in the School.

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of facilities management and repair, and an excellent understanding of all legislation relating to estates, facilities and building maintenance.

They will have excellent interpersonal skills to promote positive and healthy working relationships between all estates staff, external consultants, contractors and the School community. Experience of finance and operations management is desirable to the role.


Contract: This is a full-time, permanent contract.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 52 weeks per year. This job involves full-time working hours all year round (including outside of term time) and some early mornings, evenings, weekends. 

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

Accommodation: The post-holder is provided with School accommodation 'for the better performance of their duties'.
