We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our Junior Department (Years 3–4), supporting pupils to become safe, confident, and successful learners.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school setting while developing the skills and knowledge required to become an effective Teaching Assistant.
Working under the guidance of class teachers and the Head of Learning Support, you will support individual pupils and small groups, contribute to a positive learning environment, and play an active role in the wider life of the school.
You will have a genuine interest in working with children, a positive and flexible attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop. Previous experience is welcome but not essential
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours of work: Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break, term time only (27 ½ hours weekly). Outside these hours, your attendance may be required at staff meetings, training days parents’ evenings and fixtures.
